Bug #21639
closedBehaviour problem with feeditadvanced under basic conditions in framed environment
0%
Description
- No problems with the following actions
Upgraded test site from 4.2 to 4.3.0RC1
Installed feeditadvanced from TER
Created new site
Used default site template BUSINESS
Inserted 1 page with 1 item
- Switched to FE editing
Inserted item 2 on same page after item 1
Still Okay
- Moving items around with "up" and "down" functions
Problem 1
- When "up" item 2, it becomes "up" and "down" as if more options are possible
- When "up" again, the down disappears
- When "down", again "up" and "down"
- When "down" again, the up disappears
- Dragging these items
Problem 2
Cleaned out the environment (new DB) and retried. Same problems ...
I have not tried any other templates ... (willing to, but want to have some sleep first)
- Drag item 2 above item 1. Ghost item appears
- Drag item 2 above ghost item, again a new ghost item appears
Absolute "wow" interface, but in a framed environment, behaviour for the left column is restricted (hit the page properties in the BUSINESS template).

Issues arise when the mouse is kept on the header of the element. As soon as the header is released, the correct header appears.
ITEM 1 menu ok
ITEM 2 menu ok
Hover mouse to ITEM 1
Hit "DOWN", keep the mouse at current position
ITEM 1 menu appears
Hover mouse outside menu section
ITEM 2 menu appears (as expected)

Hi Mark,
thanks for your detailed report!
Issues for the new frontend editing are solved here:
http://forge.typo3.org/projects/typo3v4-feedit/issues
Your problem 1 (wrong move buttons) has already been reported here:
http://forge.typo3.org/issues/show/4937
But obviously noone but me experienced it - and I also cannot reproduce it now.
Please add your info on this issue to that thread, so that it can be checked there.
Your problem 2 (dragging items displays them multiple times) seems to be related to this one: http://forge.typo3.org/issues/show/4875
But since it is not the same, please open a new issue in the bugtracker linked above!
