Description

When you update an Extension it now jumps to the installed repository Tab and you loose contact to the Repository Tab where you actually find all other updatable Extensions. This is not very useful.

Before it was on click and you updated the Extensions and than it jumped back to the List of updatable Extensions and you could proceed with the next extension.

Just realized that when you jump back to the list pf updatable Extensions the already updated Extensions still show up as the Content in this Tab gets not renewed when you update an Extension.

It would be good if the Extensions which have already been updated get deleted from this list. which means you need to reload the list everytime somehow as it will e less and less extensions in it (hopefully)

Sorry for another remark but it is quite annoying the way it worksd right now.

Click - on Repository Tab
Click - on Extension
Click(s) - in Popup
Click - on close this Popup - you jump to the Local extension Tab without resaon and see only the already updated Extension!!!
Click - on Repository Tab
Search - for the next extension (can take long time when you have to update lots of extensions and you might update an extension again and again the same!)
Click - on the next Extension

---------
Before it was

Click - Update from Extension Repository
Click - on the first Extension in List
Click(s) on the Update Pages of the extension
Click - on Close - you got redirected directly to the next Repository with Update Extensions again and the updated has been deleted from this list
Click - on the next extension

The usability of the new UI will still be polished and especially the Upgrade Extensions Path hasn't been considered with that much depth. Which is why the old "Update Extensions" Module is still available in the top select box for now, so if you have lots of extensions to upgrade, consider using that instead for the meantime.

Thanks for your report!

Hi,

does it work better in newer versions of TYPO3 for you (like in 6.1 with the newer ExtensionManager)
