The built in TYPO3 Media Player in 4.5 does not show the player in Safari 5.0.3
Media Player settings for MP3:

I meant. Flash Player crashes on Macintosh by using the built in media player

Works in Safari for Windows if that's of any interest.

as this issue is very old. Does the problem still exists within newer versions of TYPO3 CMS (6.1.7)?
