Bug #25312
closedRemoving URL from pagetype 'external url' is impossible to do
0%
Description
TYPO3 4.5.2 seems to intepret pages with type 'Standard' as 'External URL' when the field for the url is being set to a non-empty string. So the menu item in the navigation keeps on redirecting the user even the page's type is set to Standard.
I tried to empty the url field by setting the page type to 'External URL' and pressing the erase-X-icon in the input field. Then the little yellow caution sign appears reminding me to fill in a value for url and letting me not save my change. So going back to type 'Standard' is impossible without entering any non-empty value, which causes the trouble in the frontend ;-)

Hi,
as this issue is very old. Does the problem still exists within newer versions of TYPO3 CMS (6.2.3)?

Just tested it with 6.2.x and couldn't reproduce it anymore. Guess, this has been solved somewhere on the road ;-)
