Description

After upgrading to v. 4.5.2 I cannot create any new TypoScript Objects if I construct them in new templates- they do not register in the Object Browser.

I have a root TS in which I include basis templates, each containing an TS object. Existing templates are registered in the TOB but all new templates are not.

If I write a new TS object into one of the existing templates, ie, just add the script at the end of the existing script, then they register fine and are output as intended.

I've tried including as basis template and check the Object tree in the TOB on the root page and just create a +ext template on a page and checked the TOB on that page - result is the same - the new objects do not show and register in the Object Browser when created in new templates, only if the objects are created in templates, that existed prior to the update, do they register.

I use TemplaVoila v1.5.4 to render the pages, but I don't think this has any implication, since it's all about registering new objects in the TOB.

Problem solved - Typoscript Object browser didn't recognize closing tag for comment ie */, due to nested templates, where another comment wasn't closed correctly, thus the comment-scope included every following template in the object hierarchy.
File under error-40 ;-)
