Description

When I want to upgrade to 4.5.2 I get a broken backend (not the right colors and presentation).

Looks like you have not installed t3skin or you have installed an incompatible skin.

Also don't forget to clear your caches (all in TYPO3 and the one in your browser) before you try again.
