The T3 4.5.3 extension manager could be configured to allow acces to old extension-manager and open the detail-view of any extension in the new EM in an overlay window rather than inside of the grid.
This actually works fine, as long as you don't update the TER from the update button in the new EM. After the update you can no longer access the old EM sections and the detail-view of extensions will open inside the grid. (Seems like these are defaults?)
If you are looking up for the configuration of the EM-Extension in the grid. You will see your previous set options. But they are ignored right now. After saving them again, you can acces the old EM-sections again (reload needed).
