Description

I am missing the ability to do a downgrade to an older version for a given extension within the new ExtensionManager provided since TYPO3 4.5.6.

In previous versions it was possible to use the "Import from Repository"-Feature for Extensions that are still installed. It was possible to override the existing one either with the "current" or older versions of the Extension.

Just imagine the situation (I am shure everyone knows it), we have installed an upgrade for a extension that causes problems in any way. The new Extension Manager makes it hard to fix this by doing a quick downgrade back to the previously working version.

Is there any way to re-enable this? Any checkbox to re-enable that feature in EXT:em would do it (if there was any reason to disable this feature)?

You have to use the second EM tab (import from repository), search for your extension and right click on it
