Extend backend userlist to show more than 1000 users

Hi,
I noticed, that the backend module Admin/Users can only show 1000 backend users, all other are not shown. Thing is, that for an admin it is often necessary to use the user-switch function to log into the backend with a user account to see what the user does. this function can only be found in this module and not in any list view or the tc_beusers extension.
The users-module should therefore be able to show ALL backend users (i.e. paginated) to enable that switching-functions.

Good idea, Frank.
As this is a new feature, it has to be implemented for current master (4.7). But considering a good usability improvement, we can also include it in the 4.5-backports project (see http://buzz.typo3.org/people/ernesto-baschny/article/typo3-45-lts-and-backports/).
Do you have the skills or potential to work on a solution?
