Is it planned to reinvent this essential feature?

Without the possibility to read the manual from extension directly
ExtensionManager has lost one of its most advanced functions.

The doc and core team are working together on a new Documentation module which will integrate in the TYPO3 Backend and be able to show documentation from System Extensions and also from locally installed extensions.
