FAL - backend - thumbnails are not regenerated after file is replaced

Description
PROBLEM
1. I am in Filelist module.
2. I upload image with the same name as existing in the folder.
3. File is uploaded but thumbnail is not changed.
In frontend the image is changed so its only about regenerating thumbnails.

I can not reproduce this behaviour. Can you provide the images you had this issue with?

After you state that its working at your side I investigated issue more.
It seems like I have duplicated records for sys_file.
Any idea how it could happen that there are duplicated sys_file records (the same identifier_hash)?
It was some bug of 6.1.x ?
I did some script that is looking for duplicated sys_file, then looks for them in sys_file_references and if not found there - delete the sys_file records.
After that the image replacing works fine.
