I am not able to reproduce it on TYPO3 6.2.12
my TS Setup:

config.disablePrefixComment=1
# Default PAGE object:
page = PAGE
page.10 < styles.content.get

you can see my test setup in cattura,png - the shortcut ("my page 4") leads to "my page 10" which has content

Results:

index.php?id=4 -> -> -> index.php?id=10 (OK)
index.php?id=11 -> -> -> index.php?id=10 (OK)
index.php?id=12 -> -> -> index.php?id=12 (OK) and so for the other subpages

If you think that this is the wrong decision or experience this issue again, then please write to the mailing list typo3.teams.bugs with issue number and an explanation or open a new ticket and add a relation to this ticket number.
