Page Content Wizard fails with error

Description

When I try to create a new content element I get the following error:
PHP Fatal error: Class 'language' not found in /typo3/sysext/core/Classes/Utility/GeneralUtility.php on line 4302

Just by skipping the wizard (list > Page Content) I could prevent the error page.

Current TYPO3 Version: 7.3, updated from 7.2 where the error already existed.

Thanks for the report. I am unable to reproduce this error. Can you provide a bit more information, maybe a whole stacktrace?

Do you have the compability6-extension installed?

Yes there was an extension that wasn't compatible. With compability6-extension (I didn't recognised it) everything is fine.
