Exception in RequestBuilder is not thrown if defaultControllerName is not set due to strict type check

Description
In the request builder there is a fallback if no controller is defined which uses the defaultControllerName name attribute.
This attribute is initializes with null but checked against an empty string which will always fail and prevent an exception if the attribute is not set/empty.
