Description

Due to the TYPO3-provided f:switch being an override which disables compilation of the template (override is there for backwards compatibility alone), template which use f:switch in TYPO3 perform slower than template which use alternative methods.

Furthermore, avoiding this ViewHelper makes it easier to handle an eventual deprecation and removal.
