Description

Hello everyone. Long time no ticket!

I've accidently edited a wrong page and noticed an unusual behavior as I had to change it back to normal on TYPO3 6.2.30, PHP 5.5.

All I did is create a normal page, change it to a shortcut, set the mode to first subpage of current page, select any page (mine had subpages), save and just switch the page back to normal.

The end result is I get redirected to the page I selected, even after deleting all kind of caches.

I've tested in on a local installation - same behavior on TYPO3 6.2.19, PHP 7.0

This could be a time consuming thing for some people and I think it should be fixed.

Thanks
Deividas Simas

My first suspect is that the information "shortcut mode" is still saved and taken into account even after changing back the page type to standard.

I also suspect that this behavior still persists on v.7 and v.8.

I am sorry, but I have to close this one for now, as version 6.2 is not supported anymore (has reached its end of life).

If this issue comes out again on more recent TYPO3 versions like 7.6.x or 8.7.x, please reopen it or open a new issue with a reference to this one. Thank you.
