Description

Hello,

it would be great, if TYPO3 would support gravatar out of the box. There´s an extension, but I think, it would be a great feature to load the users gravatar by TYPO3 core. It isn´t a high priority, but in my opinion a little feature to gain a greater customer experience.

We discussed this back in 2015 when we introduced avatars for backend users and decide not to implement gravatar directly in the backend for several reasons.

Furthermore in TYPO3 it is possible to use TYPO3 without an internet connection. With Gravatar active this won't work anymore.
