autoSizeMax deprecated, but still in core...

Description
Using the "Check TCA Migrations" tool in TYPO3 v. 9.5.3 I get:
The selectTree field ['autoSizeMax'] setting is deprecated and was removed in TCA fe_groups['columns']['subgroup']['config']['autoSizeMax']. The 'size' value was adapted to the previous autoSizeMax value
I greped for 'autoSizeMax' in typo3conf/ext/* and found no matches....., but I found it in the core:
typo3/sysext/frontend/Configuration/TCA/fe_groups.php
I find that a bit odd?!?!

the config autoSizeMax is only removed for tree options, not from all other fields. autoSizeMax can also be found more often in the core.
can you retest on an installation without any extensions? I am guessing an ext changes the TCA of fe_groups?

Correct - if I uninstall my ext which alters the fe_groups no errors occour.....

Why?
I mean; many people change the TCA and will not be able to get rid of the warning... :-(
