Description
Up to TYPO3 9LTS it was possible to open the New Content Element Wizard in a new tab. This way of working has become established with some editors. Since the switch to modals, opening in a new tab is no longer possible.
It would be good if you could control behavior.

I feel sorry to close this one but it gained no traction after 2 years and it is unlikely that it will picked up in the near future.
