TL;DR; The FileBrowser (that is used to reference a FAL element) should render the file-lists paginated or at least support a paginated view possibility.
At our company we develop a driver for the FAL. It connects an asset-management, that is not based on a hierarchic directory-structure. Each asset can exist in multiple trees of classifications. So it happens that a view matches tens of thousands of assets, which results in performance issues. Adding a way to use a paginated result would solve this issue.
