Description

When importing xml data containing a content element where typoscript constant place holders (e.g. ###myConstant###) are used the following error comes up:

Uncaught TYPO3 Exception TYPO3\CMS\Core\Database\ReferenceIndex::createEntryDataUsingRecord(): Argument #7 ($referenceString) must be of type string, null given, called in /var/www/html/.build/vendor/typo3/cms-core/Classes/Database/ReferenceIndex.php on line 412

  • Subject changed from Importing page tree with ### content to Importing page tree with content containing mailto:###

The issue might be related to the email link handler. The error only comes up when the content contains a mailto link using a constant (e.g. <a href="mailto:###USER######DOMAIN###">###USER######DOMAIN###</a>). Since such links can't be set anyway this ticket could be closed.
