Description
To enhance usability of the SelectCheckBoxElement, especially with lengthy lists, an option (TCA) should be available to display a filter field above each element of this type.
This feature should accommodate both flat lists and grouped lists (rendered using tables):
- Typing in the filter field should display only items that match the entered text.
- If no items match the filter text and there are multiple item groups, the list should be hidden.
- For a single list without groups, if no items match the filter text, the list should appear empty.
This work is part of the ACL Improvements Phase 2 .
