Description

Instead, the frontend website opens in the same window. (Link at bottom of each page).
Opening backend in new window works fine

I have just tested it and in contrast to what you report it works great.

The only way I could reproduce your bug report is this:
- go to the install tool
- click "Frontend website in new window"
- A new browser window will open. In that window go to the install tool.
- Still in that window click "Frontend website in new window"
- Then you are right, it will not open in a new window

I might be wrong, though...
