setting the conf.rootPidList property will result in just searching the given page standalone instead of its tree!
i hotfixed "pi/class.tx_indexedsearch.php" to get it to work, see attached file.

General comment/feature request: When setting "rootPidList" to make the indexed search start in a certain branch of a tree it might also be very useful to be able to get the section-selector box in the "&tx_indexedsearch[ext]=1" view to show only the subpage of the page(s) listed in rootPidList.

This works fine in 3.8.0 so I guess it has been fixed already.
