Create a new page in a website
"Create page content"
"Regular text element"
Click on "Save and close element" icon
Go in "Quick edit" mode
The empty page content is displayed
Click on "Delete" icon
An 404 error page is displayed but the empty content is well deleted

The attached patch fixes the problem I think, at least in my installation (the problem still existed in the most recent CVS version)

I can confirm both the bug and the fix. I'll try to get it into CVS.
