Description

Fresh installation create all tables with collation "latin1_swedish_ci".

Questions:

Why they are created with this collation?
Can I change the collation to the system connection value
"utf8_general_ci"?

Linux suse93 2.6.11.4-20a-default
MySQL 4.1.10a
PHP Version 4.3.10
Apache/2.0.53 (Linux/SUSE)
Typo3 3.8.0 (source+dummy)

MySQL default
Language : English (en-utf-8)
MySQL charset: UTF-8 Unicode (utf8)
MySQL connection collation: utf8_general_ci
