Description

Hi,
it would be very useful if one can define the permissions for files more detailed. Currently you can define that a user can " Upload, Copy, Move, Delete, Rename, New, Edit".

I think that it would be very good if you could define that a user can upload new files but can not delete them for example.

Greets,
Thomas

At the moment, we cannot fix this issue, it is a too big change. However, if somebody provides a patch for this, that would be great.

HI,
I can't promise anything. But if you're right that it is such a big change it might be that I don't have enough knowledge of the system to make it. ;-)

But I will have a look on the code...

Does it make sense to put any efforts in this patch or should this be reject in favor of a patch for DAM!?

I just had a look on this, but a nice implementation (in my opinion) would be very complex and time consuming.

It would be nice to have such a thing. I don't thing it would be rejected because of DAM.

Resolved, no change required:

This can be solved with extensions which add additional ACL possibilities using core hooks.
