I don't see what's wrong with this! If I upload a file, the nav frame doesn't need to be reloaded...

I think the frame module reloads correctly, so there is nothing that can be changed.
But there is another problem regarding the navigation frame: It doesn't stay in synch when the active folder is changed in the right frame. The attached patch fixes this, also in some more places (web=>list module, etc.)
I'll take care of the issue.

I think this is now fixed in CVS. Please give feedback and reopen if needed.

Well, as it seems the problem only occurs when creating more than one directory in a run.
I'll have a look...

As already explained on the phone, my description is of course wrong: what was actually the problem/bug, is that the navigation framer does not reload to display the folder tree, if a new folder is created. This has nothing to do with uploading. Sorry for the confusion.

Yes I remember. I was just curious that it already works as long as only one directory is added.

I fixed the patch ; the returnUrl param was not persisted when reloading the 'number of folders listbox'

Is this bug still up-to-date? I think this bug could be closed due to the new AJAX styled tree by Benjamin Mack in TYPO3 4.1.

Fixed in TYPO3 4.1 with the AJAX Page-/Filetree by Benjamin Mack.
