Description

If ordering is set to "Dependencies" the list of available extensions and the list of extensions on the repository is not only empty, there no content at all. Showing loaded extensions ordered by dependencies generates a list, but it's not ordered. (Ordering doesn't seem to work for loaded extensions so this might be the reason there's a list returned for loaded extensions.)

Use module Tools > Ext Manager
Set Ordering to "Dependencies"
Try "Available..." or "Import..." from select box "Menu"

(issue imported from #M1809)

I tend to solve this be removing this option. Who ever needs to group by dependancy, asicde from pure curiosity?

Agreed.

But there are still two minor issues within the extension listing:
- "order by" should be renamed to "group by"
- ordering/grouping doesn't work for loaded extensions at all (as mentioned above)

Thorsten, those are already fixed in my local development setup, too. :)

I fixed it for real, the grouping by dependencies does now work. :)
