The logout button is invisible if:
1. Using IE or Opera and
2. Selecting navigation mode "Icons in topframe" in module "user settings"
It's OK in FF 1.5

I can not confirm this in 4.1.7 with Opera 9.50 and IE 6.0.
Option "Icons in topframe" is gone in 4.2.
