In RC1 there were problems with certain constants. These have been fixed in th CVS. Please get a copy and see if the problem persist.

Get it from sf.net/projects/typo3 and follow the instructions for CVS access.
There used to be snapshots on http://t3nightlies.think-open.org/, but I see no current ones.

Can you confirm that this bug is resolved in the latest (RC2 or RC2) TYPO3 4.0 release?
