I have several backend modules working with the pagetree. So with the var currentPagerecord i get all information of the page i clicked in the pagetree.

so now my question: where can i get this information now when the core team dropped this var?

How is the new architecture designed of the core? Is there a class model available to see all the dependencies?

What is plan behind dropping this var?

I have check this.. it is empty...

checked with get_class_vars()

there is no var named currentPageRecord. i think it is dropped....

in which way can i get the data of the clicked page in the tree in my mod1/index.php?

I just checked the TYPO3 3.8.0 sources and I did not find any currentPageRecord variable either.

And no currentPageRecord is to be found in 3.5, 3.6.2 and 3.7.
