installation does not accept username and password blank.
1. Maybe it has something to do with remark from Kasper for change "ïsPNG" but I do not know how this statement should look like.
2. I do something wrong. The video is working with a total difrent installation script!

setting "magic_quotes_runtime = Off" in php.ini solved the problem for me.
It appears Typo3 4.0 is unable to record configuration information when magic_quotes_runtime is enabled. It used to work with Typo3 3.8.0 on my server though.

not really possible to analyze what happened here and if this is a bug... At least it's no documentation bug, so we can close this one too.
