Bug #16143
closedNot possible to mount fileadmin root folder with relative BASE
0%
Description
For now it is not possible to create filemount to fileadmin folder using relative BASE. If entering smth like
/
./
in the PATH, it doesn't work, of course, because dots and slashes are striped in the addFileMount function.
However, the fact that it isn't possible to mount fileadmin itself (but not it's subfolder) seems to be a bug for me...
This issue is related to #14304 and #14304
(issue imported from #M3471)

Changed the title of this bug. The complain is that it is not possible to mount the fileadmin itself, but only subfolders.
This bug is very near to the edge of being a missing feature.

The change made for bug #14304 makes it possible to use a single dot "." to mount the fileadmin itself.
I see no harm in that, but it may be that this behaviour might be regarded as a security issue.

I've checked - it does work with the dot.
thanks a lot and suppose this really needed functionality will stay!
