I have inline elements configured to maxitems = 10
After importing data via SQL script I noticed that inline elements are displaying all of their children even if there are far more than 10 of them.
Possibly could be resolved in t3lib_transferData->selectAddForeign before t3lib_BEfunc::exec_foreign_table_where_query call.

I don't consider this as a bug - the TCEforms restrictions are rather soft in that they do not limit display of existing records, just disallow saving if they are invalid.
I'm gonna close this in 30 days if there is no more feedback.
