Description

on two installations I see the same thing happen:

upgrading to 4.1.1 and installing indexed_search 2.10 leads to failure in the search (no results)

indexing goes fine

installing the indexed_search on a fresh 4.1.1 installation goes well

making new search pages and PID -> no difference
removing macina searchbox -> no difference

(issue imported from #M5765)

those upgraded versions have their TYPO3 roots on subdirectories: www.domain.tld/sub

maybe this is related to login status?

is the index build with same grlist like the user who search?

(see 4286)

I resolved the issues by doing new installations. And it's a long time ago, so it's not fresh in memory.

The difference was, with other upgrades, that those that failed had typo3 installed in domain subdirectories.

To your question: the search done by public visitors gave these none-results. I don't know what the connection is with the grlist. Anyway: grlist user for indexing and grlist user for searching users were not the same. Think in the beginning only the admin made the indexes.

Resolved, unable to reproduce:

- The author is unable to reproduce this anymore
- The description is not very exact, this is hard to reproduce with given information
- The issue hat no update for a long time and nobody else seems to have this problem
- My personal TYPO3 updates never broke indexed_search so far
