Description

Using CSS is fine in theory, but using tags allows more freedom in TYPO3 configuration (eg additional CSS or removal through htmlParser).

Besides the style attribute there is also a new class "Apple-style-span".

Yes, this is the very strange Apple Webkit way. Perhaps the class is used only for advertisement?

Will be fixed in an upcoming feature patch.
