It would be very cool if it was possible to add custom default field values for new record shortcuts.
Example: You often create a news record where you select two specific categories. You already have a new news record in the shortcut menu. But it would be great if those two specific categories were already selected by default.
One way to do this - could maybe be through record templates. Where you create a record the way you want it, and then it's used as a base for creating new records through the shortcut menu.

To me this sounds like something you would do using the taskcenter.
