without proper write privileges for various directories

in install/Configuration (/typo3/typo3/install/index.php)

in Server -> Directories

it displays only:

Server / Directories
Checks
directories
[red cross] Problem

without any error message

Resolved, no change required:

This changed with 4.3: We get a warning sign and eg. the message "typo3/ext/ directory not writable". I assume this is precise enough.
