Description

The fix 0008784 (http://bugs.typo3.org/view.php?id=8784) is again based on a broken previous version 1.2.2 of RTEHTMLAREA (see 0005541 http://bugs.typo3.org/view.php?id=5541) and therefor the links in the now released version are broken again, or better said are still broken.

Patch has been supplied last time. Please release a new version which fixes both problems, otherwise we will have this problem again and again.

Rant: Again, nobody never ever tested the last fix.

Please be polite. Version 1.2.3 was indeed tested although perhaps not with your specific configuration.

Please test the attached version.

Tested and the links are working again. RTE itself is also working as it should be on FF3. Good work.

Sorry for the harsh words, but it's a problem if you can't rely on releases.

"As it should" you might say. However, you are just being well served. Support for TYPO3 3.8 was dropped quite a while ago, and when a browser like Firefox drops some methods from its API, you should expect impacts on unsupported versions of software.

Fixed in version 1.2.4 of htmlArea RTE, now on TER.

For a more enjoyable life, consider upgrading to the most recent TYPO3 release as soon as possible.
