Bug #19164
closedFirefox 3: Backend-Search opens dummy.php when searching for terms like "be_users:1"
0%
Description
If you perform a website search via search function in upper right corner eg for the term "be_users:1", Firefox 3 redirects to http://www.example.com/typo3/alt_doc.php?returnUrl=dummy.php&edit[be_users]1=edit and shows the search result in a single frame.
After closing the content element, this URL appears, which is a blank srcreen:
http://www.example.com/typo3/dummy.php
Thus one has to type in the backend URL manually to get back to backend frameset.
Important: This behaviour only appears when searching for special content elements like be_users, tt_content or such. The default-search behaviour is fine!
This seems to be a FF 3 Issue. All other browsers I tested do very well.
Tested (only) on Mac OS X 10.5.4 with FF 2, Safari 3.1.2, Opera 9.21.

I just tested this:
I get the same behaviour in all browsers (at least in FF and IE ;-) ):
After closing the element, you get a blank page, but the left menu always remains there. Also, if you were in a module with page tree, the page tree remains there.
It's just about the blank frame.

The issue is very old, does this issue exists in newer versions of TYPO3 CMS (4.5 or 6.1)?
