Description

The current rendering of content elements creates a lot of markup, for example when using section frames an extra div is created, when using space before or after clear.gifs are inserted...

As originally proposed by Franz Koch on the core list (discussion on 5835) this could be reduced to having only one div.

Attached a first version of a patch - mainly adapting Franz example code (thx!).
