Backend User Admin, saving changes opens a popup with "Your login has probably expired"

Description

- This is a TYPO3 4.0.2 installation that was upgraded to 4.2.4 -

The changes are not saved.

The problem seems browser independent.

Sometimes there is also a javascript error:
typo3form is undefined
[SERVERNAME]/typo3/alt_doc.php?returnUrl=%2Ftypo3%2Fmod.php%3FM%3Dtools_beuser&edit[be_users]9=edit/event/5BHi7bDNfzYSIlud7k4zmQ%3D%3D
Line 2

The login session has not experied the normal way for sure, since this happens right away, even with a fresh login.
Canceling the popup allows the user to continue the backend session.

There might be a relation to issue 9666 and perhaps also to issue
8286

Most form-fields (email, username, etc.) are empty, even if there are values in the database, an exception are the groups of the user, which are correctly initialized.

Hi there,

I found the reason for these issues:
XClassing of template.php by the extension
mn_ff3_be_bugfix
as descripted in
http://bugs.typo3.org/view.php?id=6940
and
http://bugs.typo3.org/view.php?id=7131

removed the extension, now everything works fine again.

this bug can be closed.
