Description

Admin tools -> User Admin -> Switch to user [switch-back mode] does not work in Opera (current 9.63) in 4.2.6 and trunk (r5056)

How to reproduce:
- Log in as some user with Opera (tested 9.63, gentoo amd64) and switch to some other user [switch-back mode] -> The top frame still shows the old user (Expected result: Show "SU: New user").

This will be even more weird if you click "Logout" after a switch to the new user (should switch back to old user, but doesn't reload correct top and main module in opera). This can be avoided by manually reloading the backend after a switch-to / switch-back operation. So there seems to be a problem with frame-reloading (current 4.2.6 and trunk rev. 5056) or something.

Can confirm this.

Now in Opera 10.00 and 10.50 this works for me. Can you confirm this?

This is solved for me, too.

But there is still some other problem: If I swtich to some user with switch-back mode in opera from the "User Admin" Module, opera shows a blank page. Reloading the BE then shows correct information. Same when switching back to original user again. opera 10.10 on ubuntu karmic, trunk rev. 7373

For me also the blank page is shown, but only for approx. 0.5sec. Then the whole BE reloads and everything is fine (Opera 10.10 on OS X and 10.50 on Win32)

Resolved, no change required.

This one seems to be finally solved with recent versions of Opera at least in current trunk. Since no one else showed further interest in debugging this issue I'll now just close it.
