Now it is possible to hide CE with TCEFORM.tt_content.CType.removeItems=...
But sometimes we need to hide elements only for one column. for example we need all CE types in Normal but in Right we need only textpic and text. And this is yet not possible.I have done a simple patch which makes this possible with this tsconfig.
TCEFORM.tt_content.CType.ColPos.0.removeItems=
TCEFORM.tt_content.CType.ColPos.1.removeItems=
......

As this report is very old, is the handling in newer TYPO3 CMS Versions (like 6.0/6.1) more like you expect it?
