cannot edit data from selectorbox in IE8

Description

When trying to edit data from a database relation in a selector-box with IE8 the first popup is fine.

After closing this pupup and trying to edit another record, the fields in the popup are all empty.

The problem only occurs in IE8. Firefox, or older IEs are not effected.
Compatibility mode does not help.

I have tried Typo3 4.1.10, 4.1.12, 4.2.8, all have the same Problem.
