Description

$search_field is initialized too late. Therefore the input field is always as empty.

Very simple to test:
1) go the BE module "Configuration"
2) Search for somehting
3) The input field won't be prefilled with the search value
4) Apply the patch
5) Search again
6) Give a +1on testing and reading

The issue is very old, does this issue exists in newer versions of TYPO3 CMS (4.5 or 6.1)?
