Description

After inserting an image in the RTE, a line-break deletes the image. The bug is not reproduce in 1.7.12 version.

The problem arises in Firefox, WebKit and Opera. When the image is the first element at the start of a block, the cursor is positionned just after the image and the ENTER key is hit, the image is deleted.

Create a text normal content
Type some words
Line-break
Insert an image (mode Magic)
Position the cursor after the image
Line-break

The image is deleted

TYPO3 4.2.12

Enable images in the RTE checked
Enable the DAM media browser checked

Maybe I don't understand but I am unable to reproduce this in any of Firefox 3.6, IE8, Opera 10 or current Chrome with TYPO3 4.3.3 (should not be different than 4.3.2).

I note that after inserting an image the cursor is positioned before the image. Perhaps it would better to have it after. But neither pressing ENTER nor SHIFT-ENTER deletes the image.

line-break... you mean pressing SHIFT-ENTER ?

Note that if you select the image and press ENTER or SHIFT-ENTER in browsers other than IE8, the image gets deletes. In IE8, nothing happens. But the image is not selected after its insertion.

Please explain exactly how to reproduce in what browser.

Create Page
Create normal content
Some text + pressing ENTER
Add image
Place the cursor after image
Press ENTER

The image is deleted
