Description

It is not possible to link to a file in 'Text w/image'. To reproduce (on 4.4.1 and 4.2.13)
1. Create new Text w/image content element
2. In the Media tab, 'Image Links', click the link icon
3. Select any file from the fileadmin
4. Click the checkbox next to the input field, the field content disappears

Replacing the JS with an older version fixed that problem, but typo3 drops the field value later anyway.

Btw, I was hesitant to mark this as major but it's broken functionality that used to work and is used a lot on this site.
