Not sure what the default for ExtJS is, or what the best behaviour would be in general, but at the moment, double click selects or deselects an item; but it also triggers expanding and collapsing.
It would be cool if single click triggers the selection/unselection and double click triggers expanding/collapsing.
If clicked directly on the checkbox always selection/unselection should be triggered imo - that means double clicking on the checkbox directly, quickly selects and unselects it.
